Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement CAPEX procurement strategies aligned with project development schedules and portfolio priorities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including RFIs, RFPs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
- Structure procurement approaches under multi-contract models (supply-only / full service, supply & install)
- Lead commercial negotiations with global OEMs covering pricing, delivery schedules, warranties, and performance guarantees
- Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic suppliers across Solar PV, BESS, and HV equipment
- Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships to ensure supply security and competitiveness
- Lead contracting for supply agreements, service agreements, and relevant framework agreements
- Cookordination with Legal and Engineering teams on risk allocation, LDs, technical guarantees, and contract interfaces
- Analyze project cost structures and drive cost optimization across key packages
- Monitor market trends, supply chain dynamics, lead times, and pricing benchmarks
- Identify and manage procurement risks including delivery risk, supplier concentration, and regulatory exposure
- Support investment processes including input into FID decisions and procurement strategies
- Act as procurement lead for assigned projects, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 6–10+ years of experience in procurement, commercial, or contract management roles
- Proven experience in CAPEX procurement within renewable energy
- Experience in Solar PV, BESS, or HV procurement is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex sourcing and negotiations for high-value packages
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in risk allocation and contract structuring
- Working understanding of PV, BESS, and/or HV systems
