About the role
Pardgroup, a leading company in integrated services for retail and large-scale distribution, is looking for a new Procurement Manager to join our team in New York.
Responsibilities
- Execute category management strategies to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and expand a resilient supplier base through proactive global and domestic sourcing.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to strengthen supply continuity while maintaining strong relationships with key vendors to reduce risks and enhance competitive advantage.
- Lead formal Requests for Information, Proposals, and Quotations processes, negotiating pricing and contractual terms to secure best-in-class agreements.
- Draft, review, and manage comprehensive procurement contracts in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, negotiating favorable rates, terms, and agreements.
- Regularly monitor costs related to procurement activities.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve supplier quality and delivery issues using preventive and corrective action methodologies.
- Oversee Procure-to-Pay activities, monitor budgets, report savings and compliance metrics, and ensure strict adherence to procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously assess vendor performance and implement improvement strategies.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in a similar role of at least 5 years, ideally within Interior Fit-out or Luxury industries.
- Experience with materials such as metal, glass, and millwork, as well as FF&E sourcing, is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in negotiation, contracting, PO issuance, and vendor performance management.
- Proficiency in Excel and major e-procurement and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP).
- Fluency in English.
- Positive and flexible attitude, with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of Italian will be considered a plus.
