Procurement ManagerLos Alamitos, CA | $145k–$170k Base | Benefits A patient-focused life-sciences organization is hiring a Procurement Manager to lead buyers and strengthen sourcing, contracting, and purchasing operations within a highly regulated environment. This is a visible opportunity to influence supplier strategy, cost, quality, delivery, and internal processes while supporting work that directly affects patients.What You’ll Be DoingLead, coach, and evaluate a team of procurement professionals supporting indirect goods and services.Oversee purchase requests, purchase orders, RFQs/RFPs, supplier onboarding, contracts, and procurement metrics.Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract commitments, and capital-project purchasing.Partner cross-functionally to resolve cost, quality, delivery, and supplier-performance issues.Drive cost-reduction initiatives, process improvements, budget discipline, and ethical procurement practices.Coordinate with vendor-managed inventory partners to maintain appropriate inventory levels.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree and 10+ years of purchasing/procurement experience.At least 2 years leading or supervising buyers or procurement professionals.Experience with strategic sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, contracts, negotiations, indirect procurement, and capital projects.Working knowledge of GMP/cGMP requirements within a regulated environment.Experience writing SOPs, policies, or controlled procurement guidelines.Hands-on ERP experience and ability to work onsite at least four days per week.Preferred QualificationsProcurement experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals, or cell and gene therapy.Experience supporting multiple sites or remote internal stakeholders.VMI and supplier-performance management experience.Why This OpportunityMeaningful patient-centered mission.Broad ownership across people leadership, sourcing, contracts, capital projects, and process improvement.High visibility with cross-functional teams in a sophisticated regulated operation.Competitive compensation DOE.MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
