Responsibilities
- Supplier evaluation and negotiation
- Forecasting and purchase planning
- Cost analysis
- Cross-functional coordination
- Manage packaging lead times, minimum order quantities, specifications, and changing demand to align with production plans
Requirements
Candidates should be able to compare total value rather than unit price alone. Service, quality, risk, sustainability claims, logistics, and contract terms all belong in a defensible sourcing decision. Clear records and constructive supplier relationships are essential.
