Procurement Manager

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Procurement Manager to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space. This role will drive sourcing, supplier strategy, and contract negotiations that support efficient operations across a broad range of indirect spend categories. The Procurement Manager will partner with internal stakeholders and senior leaders to evaluate needs, improve purchasing outcomes, and strengthen supplier performance. In addition, this position will help oversee insurance renewals and related risk management activities as part of a well-rounded procurement function.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives from need assessment through supplier implementation
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies based on comprehensive analysis
• Negotiate supplier agreements with a focus on favorable pricing and contract terms
• Manage supplier evaluations, bids, and relationships effectively
• Coordinate the administration of the corporate insurance program
• Oversee insurance renewals and risk management activities
• Prepare and present procurement updates and analyses to leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or related commercial fields
• Demonstrated success leading complex supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives
• Broad experience across multiple procurement areas and indirect spend categories
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating pricing and contract structures
• Excellent communication and influence skills with senior leaders
• Familiarity with procurement software, preferably Coupa or similar platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field
