Job Description Job Type: Full-time | Location: Kiowa, OK | Department: Operations | Reporting to: Head of Procurement | Work Location Type: #hybrid This position will be located in the Texas/Oklahoma area. IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC The Procurement Manager will lead procurement activities for a new data center site, with an initial focus on supporting capital construction and infrastructure projects. This role will play a critical part in delivering large-scale mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure packages on schedule and within budget. With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).7+ years of progressive procurement experience, including capital project sourcing within the construction or Data Center industry.Experience supporting large infrastructure, industrial, energy, or data center projects.Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and contract management.Experience building or leading procurement teams.Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and risk mitigation.Experience working within ERP systems (SAP preferred).Strong financial and commercial acumen.Experience in data center, mission-critical, energy, or high-availability environments.Experience supporting greenfield site builds or major expansions.Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure supply markets. Job Responsibilities Capital Project SupportManage procurement activities for mechanical, electrical, structural, and critical equipment packagesRun RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals, and support vendor selectionNegotiate pricing and commercial termsTrack long-lead items and ensure on-time deliveryPartner closely with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and FinanceSupplier & Contract ManagementMaintain day-to-day supplier relationshipsSupport onboarding and performance trackingAssist with contract review and complianceMonitor vendor performance against KPIsOperational ProcurementSupport site operations with purchasing and service contractsMonitor spend and identify cost efficienciesAssist with budgeting and forecastingEnsure accurate PO and system management (SAP preferred) Job Benefits At IREN, we offer a comprehensive, market-competitive total rewards package designed to support employees’ well-being, career advancement, and financial wealth.
