Procurement Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Procurement Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $75.00 to $85.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Oversee purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and sourcing initiatives to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services. Develop and implement procurement strategies that support operational efficiency, cost management, and business objectives. Manage vendor negotiations, contract administration, and supplier performance to maximize value and service quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast purchasing needs, monitor inventory levels, and support operational requirements. Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, strengthen controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a related field. 4+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management experience. Strong knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, contract negotiations, and purchasing procedures. Previous experience working with ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze data, and make informed purchasing decisions in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with experience managing supplier and stakeholder partnerships. Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence teams and drive procurement initiatives. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and contract compliance oversight.
