Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific procurement plans and strategies.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and tender documents.
- Evaluate bids based on technical, commercial, and delivery criteria.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and value.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage ongoing relationships.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites.
- Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams to ensure alignment on budgets and timelines.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and supplier databases.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Implement procurement process improvements and digital tools (ERP, e-procurement, etc.).
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum [5-10] years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and supplier markets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP software (e.g., EAM, SAP, Oracle, Procore).
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening as well as a background check and motor vehicle report review.

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Pay
The pay rate for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
