Job Summary: Our Procurement Interns will support and learn hands-on through data analysis, sourcing initiatives, supplier management activities, and continuous improvement projects within a global heavy-manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will collaborate with procurement professionals, operations leaders, finance teams, and suppliers to help improve efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen supplier relationships, and support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and procurement projects through research, analysis, and data collection.
• Analyze purchasing, spend, and supplier performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, compliance tracking, and supplier performance initiatives.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Support procurement process improvement and standardization efforts.
• Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional projects involving procurement, operations, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
