Procurement Field Representative

About the role

The Procurement Field Representative (Level 2) will support flight line milestones including flights, ticketing, and delivery of 787 aircraft. They will work directly with on-site suppliers to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity.

Responsibilities

• Maintains schedules and ensures product conformity for emergent offload/overload suppliers including processors, philanthropic, machine shop, and sheet metal shops.
• Identifies and establishes priorities for deliveries of products, services, and data to resolve supplier contractual issues and improve performance.
• Collaborates with various functions to report status and address concerns, including procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Co-facilitates with suppliers to develop recovery plans and manage unplanned demand requirements.
• Trains suppliers on business and manufacturing practices to enhance delivery performance.
• Assesses supplier resource plans and monitors their performance-to-plan.
• Identifies opportunities to implement new processes or improve existing processes.
• Supports work movement and manages on-site supplier assessments.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
• 2+ years of experience in roles requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience leading and managing projects.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Skills

• Experience working with flightline teams.
• Experience leading teams and prioritizing milestones.
• Experience with MS PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis, presentations, and communication.
• Experience in a strategic role.
