Position Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the procurement team to achieve excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Establish clear terms and conditions to protect the company's interests.
Compliance and Ethics
- Ensure procurement practices comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Implement and maintain a code of conduct for procurement staff and suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and seven years of professional business or public administration experience, including four years in a supervisory or administrative capacity;
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration for each year of the required education;
- Must be able to obtain within the first two weeks of employment and maintain Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) Certification.
