Job Summary

Lewis Brisbois, a national full-service AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a Procurement Manager for their Los Angeles, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage vendor relationships
  • Manage the contract database
  • Work with department leads to assist in negotiations
  • Partner with internal teams to streamline procurement workflows and support operational and strategic goals
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, bidding, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution
  • Develop and execute the company's procurement strategy, aligning purchasing decisions with organizational goals
  • Evaluate and onboard suppliers, maintaining strong ongoing relationships and monitoring performance through KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Legal, Finance, IT, Operations, etc.) to forecast needs, consolidate purchasing power, and ensure compliance
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, process improvements, and vendor optimization
  • Track market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to inform decision-making
  • Oversee procurement policies, documentation, and systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness
  • Resolve supplier issues, delivery challenges, and quality concerns in a timely manner
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, budget analysis, and recommendations to leadership

Requirements

  • Deep experience in professional services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and change-management capabilities

  • Proven track record in procurement management
  • Experience working in a legal or professional services environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
