Job Summary
Lewis Brisbois, a national full-service AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking a Procurement Manager for their Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage vendor relationships
- Manage the contract database
- Work with department leads to assist in negotiations
- Partner with internal teams to streamline procurement workflows and support operational and strategic goals
- Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, bidding, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution
- Develop and execute the company's procurement strategy, aligning purchasing decisions with organizational goals
- Evaluate and onboard suppliers, maintaining strong ongoing relationships and monitoring performance through KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Legal, Finance, IT, Operations, etc.) to forecast needs, consolidate purchasing power, and ensure compliance
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, process improvements, and vendor optimization
- Track market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to inform decision-making
- Oversee procurement policies, documentation, and systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and audit readiness
- Resolve supplier issues, delivery challenges, and quality concerns in a timely manner
- Prepare and present procurement reports, budget analysis, and recommendations to leadership
Requirements
- Deep experience in professional services
- Strong leadership, communication, and change-management capabilities

- Proven track record in procurement management
- Experience working in a legal or professional services environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
