Procurement Attorney

Responsibilities

• Advises corporate clients directly regarding procurement matters and helps them mitigate legal issues related to global corporate product procurement.
• Provides legal support and expertise to client teams by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial agreements, including technology and IT procurement contracts.
• Standardizes terms and contractual language on complex commercial contracts related to IT, technology, and infrastructure platform licensing, software licensing, vendor, supplier, and other operational agreements.
• Manages discussions with internal business stakeholders in purchase functions.

Qualifications

• Active attorney bar license in good standing in a U.S. state or territory required.
• 2+ years corporate procurement experience on an in-house legal team, with experience supporting sales teams being especially helpful.
• Procurement support experience including direct and indirect procurement, IT procurement, supplier relationship management, supplier onboarding, and contractual dispute resolution.
• Experience negotiating directly with opposing counsel regarding contract terms and conditions.

Pay

• The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year.
• The estimated total compensation for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.
• Certification and location-based factors influence compensation decisions.
