Procurement Associate
About The Opportunity
As a Procurement Associate at Wonder, you will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless and efficient supply chain. Working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Forecasting, Warehouse Operations, and Accounts Payable teams, you will manage the procurement and timely delivery of raw materials to Wonder's production and distribution facilities. Your focus will be on maintaining inventory continuity, ensuring product specifications are met, and supporting operational excellence across the organization.
The Impact You Will Make
- Support the day-to-day procurement activities for assigned categories of goods and services, helping to ensure a reliable supply of materials.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, identify sourcing opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to support product and operational changes.
- Provide procurement support for non-strategic materials, ensuring the Customer Service Center has the resources needed to operate efficiently.
- Aid in maintaining supply continuity, supporting cost-saving initiatives, and contributing to purchasing strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular communication via email, virtual meetings, and phone calls.
- Monitor inventory levels, create and submit purchase orders, and follow up to ensure timely deliveries.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to address and resolve raw material quality concerns.
- Communicate forecast updates and demand changes to suppliers to support effective planning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to help meet launch timelines for new raw materials.
- Analyze procurement, inventory, and supplier data to support strategic decision-making across sourcing, budgeting, and supplier management functions.
- Review reports and data to identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve inventory management across production and distribution facilities.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Food Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Buyer, with a focus on Supply Chain Operations within Food Manufacturing or Retail setting.
- Highly proficient in Excel and SQL.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software or other facility related analytics.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Has a sense of urgency & great attention to detail.
- Able to grasp concepts quickly and apply the learning.
- Embraces a fast-paced environment & can pivot as needed.
Qualifications

- Must have 1-3 years of experience as a Buyer, with a focus on Supply Chain Operations within Food Manufacturing or Retail setting.

New Jersey: $75,000 - $82,000
Schedule
Our working hours are aligned with the needs of our direct internal clients—the field locations—and we are expected to provide support when business demands require it. This includes weekend and holiday coverage.
