About the role
Part-time Procurement Assistant responsible for using an agency-issued Small Purchase Charge Card (SPCC) to pay invoices in a high-volume environment. Coordinates with other divisions to obtain supporting documents, process orders, and manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition entry through payment.
Responsibilities
- Process SPCC payments for orders self-entered and for orders entered by other divisions.
- Coordinate with ordering division staff from requisition entry, purchase order, receipt, to payment.
- Obtain and verify supporting documents when paying invoices for other divisions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move office supplies within the office and storage areas.
- Ability to take clear, organized meeting notes.
Additional Considerations
- Experience with the eVA procurement system and SPCC is desired.
- VCA certification is desired but not required.
Pay
Hiring range: $25–$30 per hour (part-time wage position).
