Procurement Analyst (SOUTHCOM)
About the role
Celestar, a B&A Company, is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support SOUTHCOM. The ideal candidate will work with a great team and possess the knowledge and capability to track expenditures, manage procurement cycles, and ensure contract compliance with DoD acquisition policies.
Responsibilities
- Track expenditures and manage procurement cycles
- Ensure contract compliance with DoD acquisition policies
- Manage purchase orders
- Track procurement performance metrics
- Support budget alignment with operational requirements
- Use acquisition software, federal procurement databases, and financial tracking tools
- Perform cost estimation, contract analysis, and procurement audits
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field OR 4+ years of equivalent experience in contract administration
- Skills: Demonstrated experience in DFARS and FAR processes, managing purchase orders, tracking procurement performance metrics, and ensuring budget alignment with operational requirements
- Experience: Proficient in data analysis, cost forecasting, and procurement workflow optimization
- Attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Qualifications
- Desired Certifications: Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), DoD Financial Management Certification
- Security Clearance: None required
