Procurement Analyst I
About the role
We are seeking a professional with knowledge of procurement principles and practices to join our team. This position involves working closely with PMI’s Procurement team members to evaluate suppliers and manage ongoing vendor relationships. Key responsibilities include collecting and evaluating vendor information, presenting deals to approvers, and understanding costs and sourcing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate suppliers and complete procurement tasks
- Collect and evaluate critical vendor information
- Present deals to all related approvers and decision-makers
- Understand costs, sourcing, and vendor vetting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
- Strong experience with MS Office and basic understanding of finance systems (MS Dynamics and Concur preferred)
- Experience in finance business operations
- Experience in an agile and dynamic project-focused environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication, collaboration, and relationship building skills
