Procurement Analyst (Buyer)

About the role

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is hiring a Procurement Analyst (Buyer) for a 12-month contract in Plano, Texas. The pay range is between $30.00- $40.00/Hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401K.

What We’re Looking For

• Responsible for creation and execution of procurement strategies across various purchasing categories and commodities.
• Develop and implement multi-year spend strategies.
• Plan and manage sourcing (RFx) events.
• Support the development, negotiation, and execution of contractual documents (MSAs, SOWs, amendments).
• Build strong relationships with business units, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Manage procurement activities related to requests involving Tier I and Tier II suppliers (suppliers offering financial or “regulatory” services to TFS).

Qualifications / What You Bring (Must Haves)

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related supply chain management discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in contract development, sourcing, negotiations, data analytics, and contract management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated leadership experience and skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally across different groups and management levels.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to offer business-oriented solutions to complex compliance issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with a low margin of error.
• Experience organizing, prioritizing, and managing multiple tasks with flexibility and efficiency.
• Experience leading or participating as a key contributor on projects.
• Experience supporting professional services commodities.

• Knowledge of e-Marketplace tools and Ariba Spend Management.

Compliance Demonstration

Demonstrate expertise and ensure compliance with all procurement concepts, policies, and procedures. Assist in identifying requirements and interpreting and documenting those requirements so that internal customers and suppliers clearly understand contractual obligations and expectations.

Customer Support

Educate and train customers and team members on sourcing and contracting processes, best practices, and negotiation strategies to maximize cost effectiveness. Ensure frequent communication between customers, suppliers, project teams, and other relevant stakeholders. Continually review and monitor current processes to identify potential Kaizen opportunities. Provide proactive communication with internal and external customers regarding work status and escalate tasks or issues as appropriate.
