About the Role

This role supports the procurement area with administrative tasks, working closely with procurement and operations teams to facilitate communication with vendors and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders via procurement systems (Coupa and SAP), manage inquiries, expediting, and status reviews.
  • Collaborate with the AP department to ensure vendors receive timely payments within payment terms.
  • Support the maintenance of departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and coordinate all aspects of the bidding process for RFs (Request for Proposal, Request for Information, Request for Quote).
  • Ensure vendor communication and performance adhere to operations requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of procurement processes and procedures among stakeholders (Operations, Procurement, and Accounts Payable).
  • Manage and support regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., Spend Analysis, Client Relationships, and Supplier Performance).
  • Manage reporting of Procurement performance metrics.
  • Reconcile invoices to purchase orders to ensure correct pricing and quantity.
  • Proactively communicate with staff and suppliers regarding agreements, POs, ordering, pricing, service level compliance, product availability, policy/guidelines, and resolving purchasing issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited college or university and/or three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Negotiation, Cost Analysis, Vendor Relationships, accounting terms and concepts, and maintenance operations.
  • Understanding of the concrete/construction industry is preferred.
  • Awareness of procurement processes, accounts payable, and receiving functions is preferred.

Pay

Salary Range: $70,000 - $78,000
