Procurement Analyst
About the role
The Procurement Analyst position within the Division of Purchasing at the State of Missouri, Office of Administration, offers a unique opportunity for career growth. This role involves assisting in the procurement of goods and services for state agencies, providing hands-on training in competitive procurement processes, and utilizing web-based eProcurement technology.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting competitive procurement processes for agency-requested products and/or services.
- Receive training for using web-based eProcurement technology tools for procurement activities.
- Facilitate vendor inquiries and issue amendments as necessary.
- Lead evaluation teams of subject matter experts during bid evaluations.
- Manage contracts post-award.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of relevant procurement experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree.
- Desirable 1-3 years of relevant procurement experience.
- Preferred knowledge and abilities as outlined above.
