The Procurement Analyst position at Rosendin offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their careers in the electrical contracting industry. Responsibilities

  • Receives and reviews field requisitions for completeness and accuracy; confers with requestors when clarification is needed.
  • Releases material from pre-negotiated blanket purchase orders, maintaining tracking logs of released material and quantities released.
  • Secures vendor quotations on requisitions.
  • Processes requisitions for purchase.
  • Prepares bid invitations for RFQ/RFP.
  • Performs leveling of vendor quotations.
  • Affords assistance in generating submittal information for requested commodities, supplies, or equipment, collaborating with requesting departments to identify needs.
  • Issue change orders as required in accordance with revised BOMs.
  • Expedite and ensure timely delivery and back orders, follow-up to maintain optimal field production.
  • Handle return material to ensure proper and timely credit to the project.
  • Review and approve invoices.
  • Interface with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice problems.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by Senior Purchasing Agents or Division Managers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years in purchasing or related field in the electrical industry.
  • Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Oracle preferred.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
  • Work under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
  • Oral and written communication skills as required for the position.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
  • Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
  • Travel 0%.

Working Conditions

  • General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
  • Varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
  • Noise level is typically low to medium; it can be loud on a job site.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
