Responsibilities
- Monitor, audit, and optimize all expenses related to office and branch utilities and certain expenses related to real property repairs and maintenance.
- Audit and reconcile vendor invoices for office and branch utilities (including telecom and data services) and certain other facilities expenses.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies and own the process to analyze and identify cost optimization opportunities across the company’s footprint of branch locations for utilities, repairs, maintenance, telecom, and other areas.
- Prepare and present monthly status and cost analysis reports by location for finance leadership.
- Support cost-optimization initiatives and procurement best practices.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams for budget and forecast alignment.
- Action the approved recommended corrective action.
- Monitor and analyze spend trends within our various payment systems for the assigned expenses to ensure no process gaps resulting in late fees or other assessments.
- Advocate for the company’s strategy around right sizing the operating expenses with the right level of spending in the right areas.
Qualifications
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with cost analysis and budgeting.
- Experience in auditing monthly bulk invoices across hundreds of locations and vendors.
- Proficiency with procurement and vendor management tools; experience with GetChoice, Corcentrix and ServiceChannel preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills; ability to work with large datasets and create reports.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Benefits
This role offers hybrid flexibility out of our Greenville, SC office. Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 USD. The actual base salary offered for this full-time position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, skills, knowledge, competencies, and experience.
