Procurement Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Materials Management & Procurement Manager to lead procurement, warehouse, inventory, and materials management operations within a refinery or industrial manufacturing environment.
About the role
This role serves as a key partner to Operations, Maintenance, Projects, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain leadership, ensuring efficient material availability and support for day-to-day operations, turnarounds, and capital projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead all Materials Management and Procurement activities for the site.
- Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and material planning functions.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and site stakeholders, including Operations, Maintenance, Technical Services, and Project teams.
- Develop and execute material support strategies for turnarounds, shutdowns, and capital projects.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining operational readiness.
- Ensure inventory transactions and materials processes are accurately executed within enterprise systems.
- Partner with Finance, IT, Maintenance, and Operations teams to improve materials management processes and controls.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives involving systems such as Maximo, SAP, Ariba, Track, and SharePoint.
- Lead and develop a high-performing materials management and warehouse team.
- Align site materials management objectives with broader supply chain strategies and business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience within Oil & Gas Refining, Petrochemical, Chemical Processing, or a similar industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading Materials Management, Warehousing, Procurement, or Supply Chain operations.
- Demonstrated success supporting Turnarounds (TARs), shutdowns, outages, and Capital Projects of varying size and complexity.
- Experience managing inventory optimization and warehouse operations.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across Operations, Maintenance, Finance, IT, and Project organizations.

- Microsoft SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting refinery maintenance and reliability organizations.
- Experience leading process improvement and systems optimization initiatives.
- Experience in inventory management, forecasting, and materials planning.
- Experience managing direct reports and leading multi-functional teams.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
