About the role
The Procurement Analyst is a detail-oriented, data-driven role supporting the accounting team. This position oversees procurement operations, inventory management, supplier performance, and data analysis to ensure efficient purchasing processes, cost savings, and operational continuity. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver responsible for maintaining purchasing compliance, optimizing inventory levels, supporting vendor relationships, and driving data-informed procurement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain digital records of all purchase orders, confirmations, receipts, and shipping documents. Ensure all files are saved to the correct purchase order and vendor shared drives to guarantee strict audit compliance.
- Manage inventory master records within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to ensure accurate part numbers, descriptions, and pricing, supporting seamless purchasing and inventory control.
- Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process by sourcing vendors, preparing bid documentation, coordinating supplier communications, and evaluating proposals based on cost, quality, service, and strategic alignment.
- Analyze spending trends, supplier performance, and market conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate scheduled and cycle warehouse inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate necessary inventory adjustments.
- Support budget planning and procurement forecasting.
Requirements
- At least two (2) years of related procurement or supply chain experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to dissect complicated problems, analyze trends, and implement data-driven solutions.
- High degree of accountability and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail paired with a proactive, self-motivated mindset.

Pay
Approximate compensation is $75,000 - $85,000 annually, determined based on experience, skillset, travel, and geographical location.
