Processor I

Responsibilities

• Unload and reload materials using a pallet jack or other equipment.
• Pick books for customer orders and place them into appropriate containers.
• Stock and shelve inventory for future orders.
• Research and correct stocking errors as needed.
• Perform special processing tasks as required, including RFID, security tags, and special labels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Finger dexterity and ability to measure and read a ruler.
• Ability to read and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Able to accurately count and have good eyesight.
• Flexible to make appropriate decisions regarding safety in handling materials.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work respectfully with co-workers.
• Ability to work in a production environment subject to varied temperatures and other conditions.
• Standing/walking for 8-hour shifts, frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and pushing book trucks weighing several hundred pounds.
