Our digital offering, hoopla Digital, combines the media and library expertise of Midwest Tape with the latest in web and mobile technology, delivering an all-in-one experience to the library world. As hoopla continues to grow on a global scale, we are expanding our team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below.
• Remove cellophane from DVDs, CDs, and Audiobooks
• Remove disc from original case and place in new case (if needed)
• Replace cover art
• Apply overlays and stickers
• Verify that completed product meets specifications per work instructions.
• Meet established production standards.

Skills

• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to file alphabetically.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and operating manuals.
• Must possess organizational skills.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must possess excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.

Education Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred experience: 1 year in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Ability to walk or stand frequently for long periods of time.
• Ability to regularly sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to occasionally bend, twist, stoop, and crouch.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.
• Ability to use sharp utility spatula (Razor Blade).
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive functions.
