Processing Technician, MS PM (10101-2026225)
About the role
At LifeNet Health, you help save lives, restore health, and bring hope to patients and families worldwide. This job is located in Virginia Beach, VA (Concert Drive) within the Production & Logistics department. It is a Full-Time position from 1:45 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday-Friday. Important: You will need to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift, and wear personal protective equipment including surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles, and caps.
Responsibilities
- Tissue Processing: Reviews work orders or processing instructions/scheduling, performs all aspects of processing tissue, packaging, documentation, and decontamination.
- Packaging: Ensures correct sizing, quality, packaging materials, cryopreservation, and adherence to protocols.
- Data Entry: Documents all processes and functions accurately and completely.
- Decontamination: Performs post-processing decontamination of equipment and the processing room.
Requirements
- High School or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Two years of work experience required
- Preferred: Certified Tissue Banking Specialist (CTBS) certification, one year of tissue processing, recovery, manufacturing, operations, or surgical technician experience, two years of experience in a non-clerical, fast-paced, hands-on setting

Compensation
The salary range for this position is a flat rate of $20.36 hourly (entry level). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
