Processing Technician

A Processing Technician is primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the cannabis plant preparation for extraction processing. Responsible for maintaining and following company processing proceduresEfficiently removes fan leaves and segments plants (wet)Responsible for accurately weighing and recording all wet cannabis plants weightsDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in order to improve and promote qualityWorks in a timely manner and strives to increase productivityResponsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facilities processing area while performing dutiesOccasionally required to trim off the stick once plants are dryResponsible for maintaining the Company standard of quality productAnd all other job duties as assigned Note: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job. Education High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) Training Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use Knowledge Excellent computer, mathematic, language, and reasoning skillsKnowledge and familiarity with CannabisFamiliarity with cultivation processing procedures Experience Experience in cannabis cultivation processing procedures preferred Physical Requirements Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to handle labor-centric workMust be able to sit, stand, stoop crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of timeMust be able to pass a Level II background check
