About the role
A Processing Technician is primarily responsible for the efficiency and quality of the cannabis plant preparation for extraction processing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and follow company processing procedures
- Efficiently remove fan leaves and segment plants (wet)
- Accurately weigh and record all wet cannabis plant weights
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to improve and promote quality
- Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facilities processing area
- Occasionally trim off the stick once plants are dry
- Maintain the Company standard of quality product
- Perform all other job duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Must stay current and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use
- Excellent computer, mathematic, language, and reasoning skills
- Knowledge and familiarity with Cannabis
- Familiarity with cultivation processing procedures
- Experience in cannabis cultivation processing procedures preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to handle labor-centric work
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time
- Must be able to pass a Level II background check
