Processing Support Technician, MS PM (10101-2026584)
Location: Virginia Beach, VA (Bayside) | Department: Production & Logistics | Full-Time, Monday-Friday (1:45PM-10:30PM)
About the role
As a Processing Support Technician MS, you’ll perform all aspects of circulating and in-process documentation of tissues and equipment/materials for all processing cleanrooms in an FDA-regulated environment. These roles are critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in transitioning donor gifts into lifesaving and health-restoring allografts for patients around the globe. Your work will directly contribute to life-changing outcomes every day.
You will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift, as well as wear personal protective equipment including surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles, and caps.
Responsibilities
- Provide tissue circulating support for all processing rooms, including obtaining necessary equipment/tools/items, preparing processing materials, and preparing samples for transport.
- Perform set-up, break-down, and terminal cleaning events for all processing rooms; clean and inspect general areas as needed, including removal and documentation of post-processing materials, forms, and bio-hazardous waste.
- Inventory and organize supplies and equipment necessary for processing.
- Perform environmental monitoring (touch plating of clean rooms and general areas), prepare processing materials, and order/stock supplies and equipment for clean rooms.
- Monitor temperatures and maintain specified equipment (freezers, refrigerators, and incubators) as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Zero years of work experience is required (entry-level role).
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year of work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, computer software, and databases.

Pay
Salary Range: $17.00/hour (flat rate for entry-level). Final compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
