Processing Req - Mechanical Assembly
About the role
TLD is the largest global manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment in the aviation and aerospace industries. This role is within ALVEST, a global collection of businesses with strong leadership and product positioning in commercial / general aviation, air cargo, and military aviation.
Responsibilities
- Use equipment such as drills, wrenches, high pressure carts, screwdrivers, hammers, and other tools to assemble preformed sheet metal parts.
- Assemble and pressure test valves and similar components.
- Accurately and efficiently interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches.
- Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
- Establish standards and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Maintain currency with respect to technical and supervisory skills through training and attendance at relevant courses.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in the assembly of preformed sheet metal parts and the use of mechanical equipment.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred.
- Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings and measuring scales or tapes.
- Teamwork and solo work experience.
- Familiarity with tablets and computers.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
