About the Role
We are hiring for 1st and 3rd shift supervisory positions. In this role, you will lead, coach, and train a team, providing professional development through ongoing coaching. Safety is a top priority; you will constantly promote safety throughout the work area and with your team. You will be responsible for proper scheduling to run the production area, motivating and training the team to optimize performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and established food safety programs. Additional duties include optimizing employee engagement through positive leadership and performing other relevant supervisory tasks.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and train a team to drive professional development.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols throughout the work area.
- Ensure proper scheduling to maintain production efficiency.
- Motivate and train the team to optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety programs (GMPs, HACCP, OSHA guidelines).
- Optimize employee engagement through positive leadership.
- Perform other relevant supervisory duties as required.
Requirements
- 2+ years of leadership and/or supervisory experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in technology, computers, mathematics, and analytical skills.
- General knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP.
- Strong work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
Physical Requirements
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
- Exposure to damp, wet, and cold environments.
- Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
