About the role
Seeking a supervisor to lead, coach, and train a team in a production environment, emphasizing safety and compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop team members through ongoing coaching
- Promote safety and ensure compliance with food safety regulations, OSHA, GMPs, and HACCP
- Manage production scheduling and optimize team performance
- Maintain high standards of employee engagement and positive leadership
- Perform other supervisory duties as needed
Requirements
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or related field preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
- Knowledge of plant operations, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Honest, hardworking, with a solid work eth
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Exposure to noise, CO₂, moving lines, damp, cold environments, and raw animal odors
