Processing Operator (Nights) - Ames, IA

About the role

Responsibilities

• Operate one processing line according to Barilla specifications.
• Perform automated mixing.
• Select and install dies.
• Oversee extrusion, cutting, and drying processes.

Requirements

Previous work experience in production or food manufacturing and a general working knowledge of computers is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and supporting programs (cleaning, sanitation, pest management, etc.) is a plus.

Pay

$27.83 per hour (includes 10% shift differential) for the night shift.

Schedule

Processing Operators work only half the days in a month on a flexible (2‑2‑3) shift pattern and must be available to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.
