Pinto Valley is an open-pit copper mine located at the west end of the historic Globe-Miami mining district of central Arizona, approximately 80 miles east of Phoenix. Pinto Valley has been in operation since 1972 and has produced more than four billion pounds of copper. Acquired by Capstone from BHP in 2013, the mine is fully permitted through 2039 and a study is underway to potentially extend the mine life through 2050.

Responsibilities
As a Processing Maintenance Technician, you will be expected to follow all safety and environmental protocols, accurately document work activities in SAP, and communicate effectively with supervisors, planners, and other team members to support efficient maintenance execution. Maintenance Trades personnel are responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on a wide range of equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and other systems while adhering to maintenance schedules and work orders Able to learn lube routes and inspections Pump maintenance and pump rebuild. Crusher maintenance and rebuild Chute maintenance. Belt maintenance (pulley and idler replacement, skirting and skirt board replacement)
Requirements
- Previous heavy duty mechanical experience
- Ability to speak, comprehend, read and write in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Previous experience in fixed plant maintenance
Qualifications
All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol test, and background check. All positions require a pre-placement physical examination to ensure candidates are 'fit for duty'. Additional training and/or testing may be required.
