Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday from 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Hours may vary)
Responsibilities
- Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.
- Ensure product conforms to specifications; prevent and minimize rework and/or inedible product.
- Operate equipment such as taping machines, shrink wrap machines, pallet jacks, trash and recycling compactors as needed.
- Perform standard operating procedures for production and inspection functions as directed.
- Complete all necessary technical and soft-skills training and skills verification.
- Return from breaks in a timely manner; notify lead/foreman/supervisor before leaving the department.
- Accurately complete all required paperwork and attend all department and company meetings.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; immediately report accidents and deficiencies.
- Ensure safety devices are installed and working; follow OSHA and company safety standards.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP training, SOPs, and SSOPs.
- Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition; maintain FIFO records.
- Add ingredients to batch and verify against formulations in the Blending system.
- Load meat into machines/combos/v-mags using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Load meat racks, push meat trucks between areas, visually monitoring meat for quality.
- Keep accurate records; wash and sanitize carts, racks, and trucks.

Pay
- Hiring range: $18.58 – $27.87 per hour. Actual wages vary based on market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience.

Physical Demands
The role regularly requires standing, walking, using hands to finger/handle/feel, lifting and/or moving up to 25 lbs, and talking or hearing. Occasionally required: sitting, reaching with hands and arms, lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close vision.
Work Environment
Plant/office setting with varying temperatures and noise levels; exposure to manufacturing equipment movement and wet/slippery floors. Travel may be required.
