Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold and maintain the Company’s vision, mission, and core values.
  • Follow all Company policies, processes, and procedures in accordance with Department Manuals, Employee Manuals, and Safety Manuals.
  • Assist as a primary source for the day-to-day needs of 101 Plant Processing, including: Crushing, Baling, Cleaning, De-Packaging Finished Goods, Recycling, and more.
  • Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and production facility.
  • Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to prevent damage, optimize space, and maintain organization of goods according to Company processes.
  • Clear production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets.
  • Learn and become efficient on various types of Company equipment and operating machinery.
  • Avoidance of foot traffic and don all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and troubleshoot or report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records of all material movements and forklift operations.
  • Enter load data into designated Company software.
  • “Feed” processing crews to keep them busy and get off the fork truck and help out with processing as needed.
  • Collaborate with warehouse/production staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Suggest improvements in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Completing other tasks as assigned by team leader/supervisor.
  • Attend all Company meetings and trainings as required.

Qualifications

  • Forklift Certified with 1–2 years of experience in a production, warehouse, or material handling environment preferred.
  • Ability to get forklift certified within the first couple of weeks, required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with processing, recycling, or feed-handling equipment a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and safety.
  • Able to follow standard operating procedures (cGMPs) and maintain accurate records.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varied conditions (heat, cold, noise, odors).
  • Willingness to wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, etc.).
  • Must be able/willing to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
  • Must be able/willing to work around dairy products.
  • Must comply with all Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and facility hygiene standards.
  • Must comply with Jewelry & Hygiene Policy - no jewelry, watches, or visible piercings (including facial or tongue piercings) are permitted inside the production area in accordance with federal food safety regulations (21 CFR 117.10).
