Forklift Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklift
• Receive and check incoming products
• Properly identify product and ensure quality of product
• Offload trucks using equipment such as forklift or pallet jack
• Store product in assigned slot
• Conduct replenishments and put-aways
• Cycle product based on date (FIFO)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to food safety regulations, follow company safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Minimum Qualifications

• Communication skills and detail oriented
• Must have basic math comprehension skills
• Must be safety minded
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed
• Must comply with Physical Demands of Forklift Operator-see below
• Able to work on your own with a detailed list of tasks to accomplish during shift
• Standup or Sit-down forklift experience
