Processing Assistant - Machine Operator

Duties

• MIX/BATCH FOR UHT AND ASEPTIC SYSTEMS.
• CLEAN UHT AND ASEPTIC PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND ALL ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.
• CLEAN ASSOCIATED RAW AND PASTEURIZED EQUIPMENT (TANKS, LINES, BATCH SYSTEMS, etc.) PERIODICALLY.
• PERFORM ASSIGNED POINT OF MAINTENANCE (PM) TASKS, INCLUDING REBUILDING VALVES, PUMPS, AND HOMOGENIZERS.
• OPERATE AND CLEAN SEPARATOR AND OTHER ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.
• LIFT 50 TO 100 LBS. ON A REPETITIVE BASIS.
• WORK IN HOT, HUMID CONDITIONS.
• MAINTAIN AND KEEP RECORDS ACCURATE AND UP TO DATE.
• FOLLOW GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES.

Schedule

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and carry out instructions.
• Able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Skills

• Physical ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to work in hot, humid conditions.
