Responsibilities
- Train customers' operating and maintenance staff on the operation, process, and functioning of BHS corrugated equipment.
- Develop customized training plans and materials to meet customer needs, ranging from formal classroom training to informal, on-the-spot instruction.
- Collaborate with customer staff to ensure a complete understanding of BHS equipment functionality.
- Play a key role during the startup and improvement phases of our state-of-the-art corrugating equipment at customer sites.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- An associate’s degree in engineering sciences or equivalent experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel.
- An outgoing, coaching personality with enthusiasm for public speaking and the ability to engage adult learners.
- A curious and analytical mindset to self-teach and comprehend new machinery functions when necessary.
- Previous experience in the corrugated industry in an operational, production, or supervisory role is a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout North America, with occasional trips to Europe.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a passport.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform bending and twisting motions, lift and maneuver objects weighing at least 30 pounds, navigate equipment, climb ladders and stairs, and work in varied temperature environments at customer sites.
