Process Technology Instructor

About the role

Remington College seeks a dedicated, enthusiastic process control/instrumentation professional to join the academic team at our Baton Rouge Campus. The position offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Train students in process technology using accepted and approved instructional methodology.
• Prepare lesson plans using industry-standard education approaches (e.g., multimedia, adult learning methodology).
• Instruct and evaluate students, develop their skills, encourage growth, and track attendance, performance, and grades.
• Participate in administrative activities such as faculty/staff meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and professional development activities.
• Supervise and monitor students' use of tools and equipment.
• Observe and evaluate students' work to determine progress, provide feedback, and make suggestions for improvement.
• Administer tests to measure progress and evaluate training effectiveness.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher.
• At least four (4) years of experience in process control instrumentation.
• Some teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service skills, public speaking ability, and detail orientation.
