Process Technician - Production Engineering Group

About the role

Support New Model or Business Plan projects by developing strategies, planning, communicating, and executing initiatives to meet Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale (SEQDCM) objectives.

Responsibilities

• Supporting strategies to meet plant targets and enhance manufacturing processes
• Implementing innovative technologies for continuous improvements
• Evaluating production capabilities and forecasting resource needs
• Redesigning workflows and layouts to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Performing MOST studies to optimize assembly line operations
• Analyzing downtime causes and supporting corrective actions
• Leading and supporting project execution as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience in an OEM environment
• Ability to communicate technical information across all levels
• Proficiency in reviewing technical drawings and documents
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, Lean principles, and data analysis
• Experience with MOST time studies, process improvement, and software tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Working Conditions

Working conditions include a mix of office and production environments, with occasional weekend work, travel, and some overtime.
