Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and part quality
- Understand and communicate information from the job packet, including specification sheets, standard routings, BOMs, scrap reports, and quality requirements
- Identify all resins used in the molding operation, including regrind and their usage percentages
- Operate and control computer-controlled presses using the operator interface 'CRT' screen, including all necessary screens to manage the process
- Create and execute new processes, perform mold setups, program robots, and start machines according to settings in Mold Books/QR Codes
- Show knowledge and understanding of hot runner systems, valve gates, and standard sprue molds
- Troubleshoot issues on injection molding machines and robots
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Eligible to work in the United States of America
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen & Authorize Background Check
- Able to work a 12-Hour Shift
- Knowledge of operating the following Injection molding machines: Engel, Milacron, Battenfeld, UBE, and HPM's
- Knowledge with Wittman and Servpro Robots preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented, team player with a sense of urgency
- Resourceful, able to apply critical problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Two plus years’ experience as a process tech in injection molding or similar process
- Follow departmental documentation procedures
- Five-S and Lock Out Tag Out experience preferred
Fixed Schedule
All (4) shifts A, B, C, D are scheduled on a 2/2/3 pattern. This schedule provides a 3-day weekend every other week. The schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts, where workers work two days in a row, take two days off, and then work another three days, resulting in only 14 working days each month.
