Process Technician B shift 7pm-7am

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Plastic Injection Processing Technician to join our production team in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Set up and start up injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
• Develop and optimize processing parameters to achieve quality and productivity goals.
• Troubleshoot molding defects (flash, short shots, burn marks, etc.) and make process adjustments.
• Absorb and assist with mold changes and machine setups.
• Work closely with maintenance and quality teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of injection molding processing experience (Husky or similar equipment is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of plastics materials and processing principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust hydraulic, pneumatic, and processing parameters.
• Familiarity with scientific molding concepts is preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime and weekends if needed.
