Process Technician
About the role
We are seeking a Process Technician to support manufacturing operations through process improvement, troubleshooting, training, and standardization of thermoforming processes. This role works closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and continuous improvement teams to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support and improve thermoforming manufacturing processes.
- Develop, maintain, and standardize machine setups and operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and material utilization.
- Troubleshoot production and process-related issues.
- Cook up and conduct training for manufacturing personnel.
- Support material evaluations, process trials, and pilot projects.
- Aid with vision systems and inspection equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams on equipment, software, and process improvements.
- Document process improvements and maintain manufacturing standards.
- Use production data to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field; or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of thermoforming processes strongly preferred. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to analyze data and identify process improvements. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems.
