Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and control manufacturing processes using various equipment and systems.
- Perform routine checks, maintenance, and calibration of production machinery and tools.
- Identify and troubleshoot process deviations, equipment malfunctions, and product quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventative actions to maintain process stability and improve output.
- Collect and analyze process data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process development, optimization, and new product introductions.
- Assist in the training of production operators on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
- Document all process changes, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Industrial Technology, Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a process technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality control principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and process flow diagrams.
- Experience with process control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA) and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
