Process Technician
About the Role
Hexcel is currently seeking a Process Technician for the Burlington, WA location. The site offers a great culture, a safe working environment, and a committed workforce. Summary pay range: $23.96 – $34.53 hourly wage rate.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of manufacturing duties daily utilizing industrial equipment, such as band saws, multi-control ovens, forklifts, power and pneumatic tools, and hand tools requiring advanced mechanical skills. On-the-job training is available.
- Follow process instructions and inspect finished product to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and that deadlines are met.
- Work in a team environment to produce high-quality composite parts in a timely manner.
- Work both independently and with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Applicants must present proof of US Person status prior to hire.
- Stable work history, preferably in manufacturing.
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a post-offer drug test.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to stand; manual dexterity; reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to walk, talk, or hear.
- Occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to physically lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull 40 lbs. sustained and 65 lbs. initial force for hands-on tasks.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Must have ability to operate power tools and machines with moving parts.

Pay
Summary pay range: $23.96 – $34.53 hourly wage rate. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Schedule
Alternative work schedules are offered. Production employees are required to be able to work all shifts and have a willingness to work overtime as needed.
