Responsibilities
- Regularly communicate with internal and external customers to achieve mutually desirable outcomes.
- Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to internal parties and customers regarding concerns or issues.
- Ensure resolution of problems by working closely with assigned projects.
- Communicate answers to complex questions and respond to detailed inquiries about fabrication issues.
- Handle and protect all internal and external confidential information, utilizing discretion and judgment based on company policies and procedures.
- Ensure equipment racks are built, connected, and tested according to engineering drawings.
- Aid in the quality testing of equipment prior to dispatch to the field.
- Provide leadership to junior employees through quality workmanship.
- Lead multiple personnel throughout large-scale fabrication efforts.
- Perform cable dressing inside of racks.
Requirements
- Experience in the following areas is required: Audio Visual Solutions including Videoconferencing, Multimedia, Distance Learning, Facility coordination or Networking systems.
- Extensive use of business computer systems including Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project.
- Working knowledge of DSP devices – Clear One / Vortex / Biamp – would be desirable but not necessary.
- Working knowledge of Control Systems – AMX / Crestron – would be desirable but necessary.
- CTS certification required within 6 months.

Qualifications
- Experience in Audio Visual Solutions, including videoconferencing, multimedia, distance learning, facility coordination, or networking systems.
- Extensive use of business computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project).
- Strong program management knowledge and experience, including group facilitation and team-building skills.
- Experience developing and implementing improvement and change programs/processes.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers.
