Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of tasks associated with automated manufacturing in a clean room environment.
- Provide technical expertise as needed for injection mold plastics and maintain associated molding equipment.
- Operate injection molding machines, OEM and third-party automation machines and associated standalone equipment.
- Respond to and troubleshoot machine errors to identify root cause and implement resolution actions.
- Maintain adequate supply of raw material to ensure continuous operations.
- Complete daily documentation for daily activities, downtime tracking, quality-related testing, and shift output efficiency.
- Support production lines without fully automated processes in a manual capacity.
- Maintain cleanliness of the cleanroom to meet standards and Hamilton Company procedures.
- Ensure timely completion and adequacy of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work with advanced technology.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Strong computer and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Certificate in injection molding, automation, plastics, or related field preferred.
- Associate degree in industrial technology, mechatronics, or similar field preferred.
- 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator, Process Technician, Production Operator, Automation Technician or related process manufacturing role.
