Process Technician (3rd shift)

About the role

Responsible for the startup, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the injection molding presses, all auxiliary equipment, and all secondary production equipment while ensuring that safety and quality are the prime initiatives. Ensure all machines run at optimum cycles. Document process settings, process changes, water diagrams, or anything that may be pertinent to aid in future setups and production runs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, diagnose, and troubleshoot injection molding presses, auxiliary equipment, and secondary production equipment while prioritizing safety and quality.
• Document process settings, process changes, water diagrams, or any relevant information to assist future setups and production runs.
• Ensure all quality attribute inspections (visual/dimensional) are completed on time and correct any non-conformances or machine malfunctions immediately.
• Inform quality teams of non-conformances.
• Promote process adjustments to ensure efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years of injection molding experience or as a Process Technician.
• Good knowledge of plastics, PVC, materials/resins, and injection molds.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a certificate of training beyond high school is preferred.
