Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor plastic processing equipment such as injection molding machines, extruders, and blow molding machines.
  • Conduct start-up and shut-down procedures, ensuring equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on processing machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
  • Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and implement improvements.
  • Document process parameters, adjustments, and production reports accurately.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Process Technician or similar role in the plastics or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of plastic processing techniques, machinery, and materials.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process documentation, and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in plastics processing preferred.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
